Did you try disabling AlphaMax by manually tuning the amp with the buttons and saving the solution for each band segment? Maybe the frequency counter was damaged, perhaps by nearby lightening? Or is

When AlphaRemote's frequency was jumping all over the place, were you transmitting? If so, I'd suspect something wrong with the frequency detector or a loose connection or bad component in the RF pat
