- Disconnect the hv from the 8875s, If it stops blowing fuses, the problem is inside the tubes. To test the tubes for current leakage, use a high-pot tester set to 5kV. Anything over 10uA-cold anode-gr

- Blake, Rather than an tube problem unless you have changed the HV Caps recently it's most likely where the problem is. pull the tubes, and disconnect the HV from the RF deck. Checked the diodes, but

- ur welcome Sounds like tubes could be the problem. If it blows fuses with the tubes in place, chances are the hv ps is ok. The problem with the tubes could be a leaky seal or gold-sputtering. I auto
