- No SB-220 kit was shipped with a 3-400Z. The original tubes were Eimac graphite 3-500Z's Many HL-2200's were purchased at the various Heathkit stores with 10M once the buyer showed his license. I moo

- Where were you when I needed you? That would have been a fantastic addition to my SB-220 rebuild. I originally intended to use an original switch but couldn't find a good one and bought a generic one

- A very easy solution for a standby switch for the SB-220/221 series... The front panel is held on with 4 screws. I drilled out the hole for the screw on the lower left corner, installed a mini-toggle

- How hard is it to put a small standby/operate switch in a plastic mini-box in line with the PPT relay cable? No holes required ,better resale value,preserve the "Beauty" of the old beast...Jim..K7RDX
