CQWW is a DX contest. The multiplier leverage effect on score provided by the sum of CQ Zones and DX entities guarantees it stays that way. Having said that, I see no reason not to kill 0,1,2,3 point

Along José's line of thinking, I like 1 point in own zone and 3 points elsewhere. The 0 point QSOs are really stupid, with many stations ignoring you, or if they work you, then don't log you. Barry W

If CQ WW DX is supposed to be, first and foremost, a DX contest, then scoring really should be distance-based. Makrothen and Volta take two different approaches to this that are easily automated. It
