- Oh. BTW, Mike WU2D makes it pretty clear that in order for the noise cancellers to work properly, they really need a "noise antenna" that is identical with your transmitting antenna. Kenneth G. Gordo

- I know a local who has tried the MFJ and ANC and says the MFJ actually works better. Believe it or not. I have used the anc4 with a receive antenna and it did a reasonable job. Mike W0MU Kenneth G. G

- Right on Pete... I use a 24ft vertical fed with ladder line working against a 100ft of chain link fence, with it's own tuner as the noise antenna. The mfj brings an S9 grinding noise level on 40 down
