- But they used "mechanical" means of operation; their "auto tuner" for example, took a long to tune because it used motors! geesh! Even their "QSK" was mechanical and still is! U S of A came out out w

- Now I could be wrong (it has been known to happen), but I think the first radio with a built in Keyer was the Yaesu FT901DM, and the first rig with a built in antenna tuner was the Kenwood TS930SAT.

- actually the dual vfo's came on the cosmophone,hallicrafters had the fpm 200.But I think it was a johnson,avenger maybe,probebly wrong that was first.The hallicrafters sr-400 with the remote vfo gave
