- Well, yes and no, you can find an old AT&T telephone handset and unscrew the receiver and in there you will find a round thing that is the receiver and it drops into your hand. Look at the back of it

- Byron, I "think" the pop on strong stations on the 509 is audio derived AGC. As I recall, and I am going from uncertain memory, rigs with audio derived AGC have to use a large capacitor which charges
