We are trying to load firmware V3.025 onto an Orion 565. It has been running V3.032. The V3.032 runs OK when barefoot but when using an Acom amplifier, it causes the ARC FAULT problem with the amp. W

I believe the problem is specific to the Acom 2000A but not 100% sure that Acom amplifier models are immune. Using a BCB high pass filter fixes the problem. It's due to low level, low frequency spurs

As I had mentioned last night, I had the same problem with Omni VII firmware downloaded from TenTec.com. The ZIP file was not recognized by Windows 7 and that was it. No joy. Fortunately, I found the

Roger Gary, but we used a WinXP computer in the attempt. And it works with other releases, just not with that one specific release. And Barry has corrected my earlier mistake, it is a High Pass Filte

There are 27 Orion I firmware updates available on http://tentecwiki.org/doku.php?id=orionfw It's possible that only 13 were publically released and the others were made available to the Wiki by beta
