FYI, I pulled the plug on the connector 52 with excellent results. But replacing the original 2400 Hz filter with the 2800 in the 9 mHz IF did nothing for the micro-chirp in my OMNI-6+ (this was the

Roy, In order to completely eliminate the "micro-chirp," you may need to modify the TX AUDIO BOARD (BFO Osc.). The INRAD filter helps to clean up the dirty-sounding CW note due to the CW TX BFO place
