Hi, Many thanks for the guys who helped me out recently with this problem. I have a Pegasus 550 with built in LDG PT-11 built in tuner. Got the latest firmware installed 1.201. TenTec GUI 1.71b1, N4P

Some questions and ideas to check: 1. Does the Pegasus do full power into a dummy load on all the other bands? Or is there a general inability to make full power on the higher bands vs. lower bands?

Sounds like the radio PA is most likely oscillating over a very wide range or multiple frequencies. Tuner doesn't know which one to attack so the SWR is shown very high to a broadband SWR bridge. --
