I wonder if Ten Tec could produce a RX320 with IF output only to send to sound card and not have the DSP stuff and audio for much less than the RX320. PC DSP IF is practical now up to 15 or 20 KHz. 7

That is exactly what the RX-320D is. http://www.tentec.com/TT320.htm It outputs the 12KHz IF signal on a newly provided jack on the back panel. Its main limitation is that it will only provide for 2.

Yes it does still have all the DSP stuff of its own, but the 12KHZ signal that is provided on the back panel is before any of the A to D and DSP of the RX-320 itself. However the DSP in the RX 320 wi

Sound cards today will provide a dynamic range of over 120 db anyway. Looking at the schematic, there are 2 PIN diodes for gain control. One just after the Input lowpass filter and one on the output

I think they could make a relatively simple kit with the local oscillators, mixers, IF and filters (45MHz and 455KHz). Take out the extras like AGC ( use attenuators), and the HI-Z input. This would

We could make a kit. The RX320 is a rather elegant design and would be a great RX with tracking RF filter, IQ final mix and output for a 96khz 24bit soundcard... If you think we could sell 1000 of th
