You are correct. The new version has regressed back to the occasional scratchy distorted audio that was present in early versions of the software. I found that turning the volume control up and down

I use good external speakers on all my rigs. I have a lot of hearing loss form stuff overs the years so I find that 7 or 11 inch metal cased rca or realistic speakers or even those old stereo speaker
