You can also obtain electric fence insulators with a screw end and put them into your trees. I have done this with good success. Just take them out when and if you remove your antenna to prevent them

I am sure it is probably ok, but I still use the insulators even though i use insulated wire. Thinking about it, the metal nail or screw that holds the insulator may be just as bad. Chuck W5PR ______
