Dale, no offence but this is not new to me, I know excactly how to remove rivets, and put them in. Different opinions but I still think it?s easier to remove two screws instead of drill out rivets. H

I started to use stainless screws more then 25 years ago, I have gone thru that process with corroded screws a long time ago and did learn. I have more then 70 yagi ( HF bands) elements up in the air

Your antenna elements don't exhibit resonant wind vibration because you use stainless steel screws? And rivets are not OK because it "makes it difficult to dismantle elements if you ever need to" aft

Just came to think of one thing. Since I?m using double tubing in the center it might act like a damper of some kind. Actually the inner tube goes right thru the other tube and then there are spacers
