I do not have the manuals for these rotors and I didn't find the info I needed on Yaesu's web site. What bulb is used for the dial lamp? Can the 2700 be changed from North end-of-rotation to South en

Oh, to change the stop to south... just turn the rotor ccw until it stops, then point the antenna where you want it to be. Clamp it down in the rotor. Twist the cover off the dial indicator by turnin

You have considerably more faith in semiconductor reliability than I have, and I've only worked in the semics industry for 28 years. 73 Peter G3RZP _______________________________________________ ___

Peter, I share your caution about semiconductor reliability, perhaps tinged by my experience at Bell Labs and Texas Instruments, stretching from 1953 to 1995. 73 Don K5AQ ____________________________

Perhaps NEVER was a bit over the top. :-) However, I've been playing with transistors since the little pinched top 2N107 hobbyist device and I have yet to experience a failure in any of my equipment.
