I've been getting several messages a week with virus attachments. Most "appear" to come from hams, but usually the callsigns used are vacant ones. So far my Norton has found and quarantined them, but

The connection would probably be that "someone" on the list is infected. Maybe not even that. This is the first one I've received via the list in a long time. Just ride it out. This too will pass. ;o

I got a virus myself 3 weeks ago from a ham call sign, and I know of at least one other ham who got one from my email shortly after, N2NEP. I assume that when the virus is downloading, it uploads one

its most likely the klez virus that you are noticing. unfortunately without a detailed examination of the raw headers of the message you can't really tell where it is coming from. the klez virus sea
