Thanks Kevin, The computer programmers and computer whizzes see little problem here. Since I am neither, I have problems. One of the other most asinine rules the ARRL has on log submission, IMHO, is

There is no way I can be convinced that deprecating the VHF-DX logging program encouraged more contesters nor was it a necessity. After all the ARRL robot was accepting the both the Alpha and Numeric

In reading all this I can understand to a point why it was done. But to my knowledge I didn't see any notice on the contest announcement to indicate that Cabrillio had changed, that the ARRL should h

I too use RoverLog, and it works well, but I have yet to have the robot accept a RoverLog generated Cabrillo file without significant massaging. 73, Bruce WW1M _______________________________________

My personal preference happens to be CT. It is now free and continues to be supported and updated. It automatically generates Cabrillo logs. A postcontest mode allows you to enter QSO's made on paper

I down loaded the Rover Log and it is much too complex for me. Does to many things I am not interested in. Logging a QSO is not straight forward. Get too many error messages. Downloaded CT. It doesn'

If you downloaded CT (DOS) version 9.92, it runs best in a purely DOS environment. It's a little tricky with Windows XP but with earlier versions of Windows, you may need to re-boot your computer int

I've had very good luck with N3FJP's contest logger also. I've used it in about 4 VHF contests so far. It is also bullet-proof. If your computer dies, you don't lose a thing. It's not too fancy and
