The ARRL 10M contest is coming in a few weeks. The addition of the states of Mexico as multipliers to that contest required an upgrade to the contest module which is in 10.77 and later. Earlier versi

I have Writelog version 10.82A, it seems that the exchange is not correct in the Log Entry window . The required exchange for DX countries is the RST and Serial Number. The serial number is not shown

Have you tried putting the serial number for a DX call sign into the QTH field? That's the way the ARRL RTTY Round-Up module works. Perhaps it is misleading to put a serial number in a field labeled

Has anyone looked at the other changes for this the 10 meter contest? One I know of is the ARRL 10m Contest now includes the states of Mexico as multipliers, as well as the usual W/VE mults. Harold

Harold, K7AED, asked: The additional XE mults were added to the WriteLog ARRL 10-Meter Contest module in version 10.77 as documented in the release notes and many times on this reflector. Ed - W0YK _

I looked tonight and the help files indicates that you should put the serial number in the QTH area. I guess that it has been so long since we have had DX on 10m I did not know what to do. Thanks eve

Just installed 10.90a Appears to be a problem with the ARRL 10m contest - the QSO entry line does not show a position for serial numbers, just 'QTH'. It's possible to enter a number, and a test runs

Steve, Haven't run the 10M module in years as it has been rather pointless during the solar minimum. The rules say W/VE stations send RST and state or province, while DX stations send RST and a seque

It does work as Gary states, but if you use ADIF prefills from a previous year's log then be careful as the old serial numbers will prefill the QTH field for non-W/VE/XE stations. You'll have to repl

Not related to this post, but if you own a copy of DXbase (and possible others will do it, like DXKeeper), you can import an ADIF file from a previous year contest, then filter the log so only USA, V

My pre-fill databases for RTTY Round-Up delete all non-US/VE/XE calls. I also delete all fields from the QSO data except for call and QTH. That makes a very compact file that loads in just a few seco

I think that is just a long time problem with the 10M module. I suspect it stems from the fact that the QTH field takes both alpha and numerical entries and the module doesn't have the logic to deter
