- Knut, I am using an Omni VI+. Try setting the baud rate to the rate set on the radio. I tried mine on auto and it didn't work either but works fine on 4800 baud. Also, make sure you have the address

- Don't use the Auto baud rate setting in Writelog, I can't make that work either. Rather, set the baud rate to whatever you have selected on the Omni. But, why go so slow? I use 9600 baud and it works

- Finally, a question I can answer, which works here. Instead of selecting the OMNI as the radio, tell it it is an ICOM. You might also set the OMNI at 19,200 baud....serial ports just loaf along at th
