- Hi Jerry, I too cannot open it in Excel 2003. Something about the registry policy setting. However my version of Corel Quattro X3 opens it okay as it has a Lotus 1-2-3 Version 2 compatibility mode. 7

- Gary, Thank you. Yes, the .dif format does indeed import to Excel 2007. And it looks at first glance that all the fields I use are there only needing some conversion and formatting. I will play with
