- I've been using Direct I/O with Windows XP SP3 to key the transceiver via the LPT1 port. Do I need Direct I/O with Windows 7 64-bit Pro to do the same? Marsh, KA5M ___________________________________

- Direct IO will not work with Windows 7/64. LPT is not supported with Vista/64, Windows 7 or Windows 8. Get an inexpensive USB to serial converter and do CW on the DTR line of the serial port. Your LP
