What do you mean by this? Do you want to key it from CT? There is a schematic on page 14 of the manual. Setup CT to use one of the LPT ports, making sure that it is configured properly (like ECP). Pi

One caution, make sure you're using CT-DOS. CTWin doesn't appear to support voice keying from the LPT port. the LPT ports, making sure that it is configured properly (like ECP). Pins 3,4,5, &6 corres

I used CTWin with my homebrew voice keyer for years and controlled it with the LPT port outputs. You need to set the LPT port to the correct type in the computer bios. I also found that after startin

I have one laptop where the BIOS text setting is likely incorrect because the CT LPT port keying only works in one of the BI-Directional modes. Word to the wise, try all the BIOS LPT port settings if

One additional data point. I tried running CT-DOS version 10.02.03. It, too, did not key the voice keyer. Went back to 9.87 and it works like a champ. 73, Bob -- +--+ +--+ ___________________________

Hi Bob: I've successfully gotten CT 10.02.03 working under DOS with an external DVK (an SCK-II in my case). I had to write a short program, lpt1init, that I run before starting CT to get this to work

Thanks very much, Mark! Your lpt1init.exe program cleans things up for CT-DOS 10.02.03. You're a genius! Of course, I still don't have CTWin 10.02.03 keying the MFJ-434. Maybe some LPT initialization

Hi Bob: CT for DOS has the exact same LPT problem, where you have to cycle through the buttons. Note that if you happen to have an SCK-II (with six DVK control lines) even that won't help. 73, Mark,
