I am not able to work this function. Master.dta is loaded, and using Version 10. Shift F-8 brings up a Check Partial Window but a call entered, with no contest entries yet, does not produce anything.

If you don't have any contest entries, then Check Partial won't have any matches. It only matches contest entries. F12 I believe is Super Check Partial. What does the window title say? ______________

As I recall, at least in DOS version of CT F8 displays Partials of stations in log and Shift-F8 display Master.Dta file calls + log calls He said he hit SHIFT-F8 and had Master.dta fiel residing in h

The file name has to be MASTER.DTA, not MASTER.DAT. It is a binary file. If it looks like a text file, one call per line, it is in the wrong format. You can use MEDIT (Master.DTA Editor) <http://www.
