The file name has to be MASTER.DTA, not MASTER.DAT. It is a binary file.
If it looks like a text file, one call per line, it is in the wrong format.
You can use MEDIT (Master.DTA Editor) <http://www.dxatlas.com/MEdit/>by
VE3NEA to view the contents or create your own MASTER.DTA from text files,
or just download the lastest MASTER.DTA from
http://www.supercheckpartial.com/

Download the Zip file
<http://www.supercheckpartial.com/SCP_VER20091018.zip>in case your
browser is doing strange things to the .DTA file when you try
to download it.

See http://www.k1ea.com/CT_additions.htm for an explanation about search
paths for files (search for CTPATH on that page).

Which directory has your .BIN file, your CT.EXE file, and your MASTER.DTA
file?

If you type N6T (or any 3 characters, minimum) and press F12 you should see
several calls in the Super Check Partial Window.

What is the exact version of CT or CTWin that you are using, and under DOS
or Windows?

Bob, N6TV
