Ten meters was pretty bad, enhanced by my 10m beam being out of commission.
Most of the ice had left the antennas. On 160m my inverted vee resonant
point moved 35 kHz down the band due to the ice loading! and stayed there!
The day before the contest there wasn't a VSWR below 3:1 on anything. Nice
to meet you guys again. Lots of 5 band QSOs but could have had lots more
multipliers if I had asked or used a second rig. Admire N0AV for asking to
QSY to ten to find it open to IA at 0000z. Finished the second half of our
6 bands in about 20 seconds of QSY! Think I will program in a key for PSE
QSY TO ...(maybe 6 of them);-). See you all next time.
