COUNTY EXPEDITION CATEGORY
Last year I had 214 QSO's, 43 mults and 24K score. Much better this year but
I expect to double my values again next year. My best asset this year was a
new slingshot! The location was a USFS campground in the Mendocino NF in
western Colusa County. The elevation was 4400 feet and the Monday after the
contest it actually snowed at the site. The antennas and operating tent was
left behind in a hasty departure and will be retrieved later. I am considering
an all CW operation next year and would like like feedback on that via email.
Otherwise, I will set up a multi/multi station (I know all would like that!)
