2 minutes til start...and NO SIGNALS at all on any of the 4 bands around 040.
But thank goodness for W7OM, K7RI, N7LOX and K7RL...without these local guys it
would have been really tough duty. (Also semi-local N9RV in Montana...worked 8
times on 40..you saved the day Pat! tnx.)  NEVER HEARD REGULARS K9BGL, N9CK,
W9RE, KZ5D, N4OX, K4BAI, N3BB, N5DX, K5NZ ..never heard !   N3DXX was only sig
from east coast heard.  ...VERY unusual propagation ! Worked one TN, DE, AB and
KS, nothing else, EAST or SOUTH EAST. Almost turned off the radio after the
first few minutes, but remembered YES WE CAN DUPE !!  YEAH !! 
see ya next time. ! and for those that dont already know...many folks meet on
3610 right after 0300 to exchange scores and excuses..please join in ! good
fun.
