Comments:

I checked 40 before the start and signal reports were OK, but there were not
many guys so I started on 80. Got a phone call from my son right at the start,
so was about 30 seconds late beginning. I had a spot claimed near the bottom,
but immediately got covered up and had to move to 3.524.9 which is lower than I
wanted. At 0315Z had 45 QSOs, but noticed I too much Poisson - some good minutes
followed by lots of CQs, so the average was not too great. Missed a few when
guys covered each other up. At 0341 has 107 QSOs, but then a lot of CQs. At
0344Z I needed a change so bumped it up to 44 WPM. Very comfortable with all
the recent practice. Somebody is doing a great job with CW Academy - four CWA
guys called in! (WR4T, KG7YU,KQ0I, KX3H) At 0348Z had 124, but then a lull for a
couple minutes. 4 a minute is quite comfortable and I am ready to move into
SO2R, but we often don't have two good bands and I would be weak on 40. I still
can't get past the plateau again. There were a lot of guys left to work. Maybe
I should figure out how to do two VFOs on one band. I used to do that way back
in the FT1000MP days.
