Comments:
Missed the 1300Z session today due to a court circuit trip to Valdosta.
Anticipated a shorter than usual calendar session this morning and left the
computer set up for the 1900Z session. Got home and was QRV missing only the
first minute. Started S&P up the 20M band until I found a clear spot and
ran there for the rest of the contest. Actually, a European member encroached
on my listening bandwidth toward the end of the session and didn't hear me
respond to his CQ, so I moved up a few hundred Hz and finished out there. Had
some slow times, but all-in-all, it was pretty good for me on 20M at 1900Z.
Using as an antenna an 88 ft center fed zepp. Now that I think about it, a
156-QSO 59-minuts session would have been pretty good when my beam was working.
Nice to QSO coast to coast, some pretty close like VA and IL and LA plus AH6KO,
FG8NY and a number of Europeans. Thanks for all QSOs. 73, John, K4BAI
