hi all,
i've got a few "unused, old" (is that the right description?)
3-500z tubes. they are eimac or amperex, i think, and date from
several years ago, but i'm pretty sure they haven't ever been used.
they are from an estate of a ham that was going to build a dedicated
amplifier for each band, but never got around to it. (i don't have
them with me now, so i'm unsure of the brands. i remember a couple
of eimac boxes, tho'.)
what are they likely to be worth, ham-to-ham? new-new ones retail for
about $180 bucks, i think. proceeds go to the widow. i have no
interest except to get them to an appreciative ham who will use them.
i'm not offering them for sale here... i already have twice as many
buyers as tubes, but i want to make an equitable deal for parties
involved.
