There are a few YU versions of the 8877 sold to medical equipment users,
YU-158 and YU-209 are two that come to mind.
These are standard production tubes that have gone thru a bit of extra
testing and are selected for much closer tube to tube tolerance, emission
charateristics, etc.  Consider them 8877's that are uniformly at the high
end of the specs. 
They are also known for exceptional linearity.
