There are meters in the surplus market that have a set of normally
open and normally closed switch contacts built in, with an moveable
pointer to set the point where these switches work. Question is, are
these fast enough to use for "glitch" protection? This would be used
with a latching circuit so it would have to be manually reset to
restart a amplifer.
