Bill Brown, W0SYK (SK) built a ton of amplifiers in his day, and he was
convinced that a wide silver plated copper strap was all that was needed in
lieu of a plate suppresser. All I know is that his stuff really worked, and
wherever the York 5000's are today, are probably still working FB. George,
