Thanks for the helpful information. The capacitors I have, are a batch of 16 I
bought from the Sprague distributor in the UK, Axiom, back in 1988, They are
Powerlytic type 36D, 330uf at 450vdc, they remain on the shelf, because a
"pull" 4-1000, destined for the linear project, was broken, whilst in transit
to me from the USA. Recently I have been considering resurrecting the linear
project, and the condition of the capacitors, having been shelved, from new,
