I've hung a B&W 800 off a 4CX3000A myself. That is 2500 volts AM so actually
5 KW peak.
I've done 5500 volts without failure. They go off like a Thompson machine
gun if resonated.
Easy to repair though. I've heard of guys winding resistance wire on them to
reduce the Q. gfz

there was one made at one time.

From a 1962 B&W advert: "This unit (800) is ideal for parallel or
series fed high power final amplifier circuits. It is used for
operation in the amateur bands--80 through 10 meters inclusive. Winding
is on a high quality grooved steatite form, threaded on both ends, for
mounting with a 1/4"-#20 screw. Rating is 2500VDC at 500 Ma. Size 6" x
3/4" in diameter. Shipping weight 1 lb."
Hope this helps. For what it's worth, I've put considerably higher
voltage and current on and through an 800 with no ill effects. Your
mileage may vary.
