Dennis,
I highly doubt there are just a small handfull of us that could construct a
tubed piece of equipmet like a transceiver. There's only one US manufacturer I
know of left making receiving type tubes which is Western Electric. Of course
all theirs are audio tubes I think and really high priced. The only way MPD
(GE) will now if it's something for the government or is what they told me back
in 1989. They don't teach one i-oughtta thing about vacuum tubes in the schools
anymore, just make a small mention of them.
