Alpha Radio has used high-temperature (red)
silicon-based adhesives for several applications for many years.
The most common application is to adhere the high-temperature
(red) silicon-rubber chimney pieces into cone shapes.
In addition, there was a drop of silicon adhesive near the reed relay
on the input relay board in the lower RF compartment on the 77Dx.
Several broadcast transmitter manufacturers use chemical adhesives
to stop things from vibrating loose, including Continental and G.E.
