I have an Icom IC-756 and an SB-200 and have no problems. I even can load them
up on 12M and 17M with no fold back. Either I got lucky or my amp is just
tolerant of my fumble finger tuning. I'd rather be lucky than good.

I'll bet you are using an ICOM radio, there radios have a much too sensitive
SWR foldback circuit. I have owned almost a hundred SB-200's and never had
such problem using Yeasu radios driving them. Lou
