Thanks to all who responded to this thread. Though this scheme does work, it 
doesn't produce the same results. I didn't do the math the first time around.

My two xfmrs are 1100 VAC. If I series the secondaries and feed a FWD circuit, 
I'd get:

1100 VAC + 1100 VAC * 2.8 = 6160VAC 

If I feed each individual xfmr to it's own FWB then series the results I get:

(1100 VAC * 1.4) + (1100 VAC * 1.4) = 1540 VAC + 1540 VAC = 3080 VAC

It could see the circuit in my head but I didn't do the math. If I want the 6kV 
or so from the supply I need to series the secondaries and run a FWD and live 
with a 60Hz charging rate.
