We've been testing a commercial amplifier using 8 of the 1250 watt CW rated MRFE6VP61K25H parts at 200 MHz, and have a solid 5.5 kW output. Its pulsed at about 10% on time so runs pretty cool to the touch. Water cooling of the heat spreader is nice. This is the driver for a tetrode that is driving the new final power amplifer for 2.5 MW peak. It works! 73 John K5PRO _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
