In order to do power on/off you need the optional RPON module from ACOM.  If
you have that then you can turn the amp on and off remotely.  

A bug in the amp, I think, prevents you from clearing the PROT light
remotely, so if you get a fault that will keep blinking even when the amp is
working again.

The ACOM 2000 has RS232 port on back

 

Control software program is available from M0YOM 

 

Anyone have experience with this method?

can it do remote on/off - aka from other side of router via internet?
