More phone operating comments.... If you don't want to waste time saying phonetics during a QSO, one technique I have had success with is to speak the station's call in his native language, if possible, i.e. say Day Ell Null Tay Ooo, instead of Dee Ell Zero Tee You. Sometimes this gets through QRM better than English. This doesn't help with JA's, of course...... Len KB2R |
