VFO Knob Fixed!

My plea for help last night at 10 PM had already elicited ten responses by
9 AM this morning, including two pages of detailed instructions for
pulling out the VFO board and overhauling the VFO shaft! Fortunately,
such major surgery was not necessary. By following one of the
suggestions, I managed to get my VFO knob turning again at the cost of
three drops of oil and 20 minutes. Thanks to all for your responses.

Some resource, this reflector! Thanks, Trey & TGV.
