It sounds like we're discussing two problems here. One is the
well-known RF Power Amplifier through-hole eyelet problem, which
is covered in one of Kenwood's service notes. The other, the plated-
through holes on the Digital Unit board, is news to me. My TS-930
is of the earlier design, SN just over 3M. I fixed the PA board
years ago, and haven't had any trouble with the Digital Unit.
