Actually I have thought about this thing also and had a slightly different thought. I always wished a few small states that were connected would get together for the same QSO party. Recently MO had a QSO party with 3 scores turned in. Other states have QSO parties with very, very few stations on and we get very few QSOs and multipliers to go after. If enough states in an area combined to get as large as a CA or Texas Party size (ops and mults) it might go somewhere.
