From http://www.kkn.net/~trey/cabrillo/spec.htmlCATEGORY: operator-category band-category power-category [mode-category] For HF contests the operator-category must be one of the following: SINGLE-OP, SINGLE-OP-ASSISTED, <snip> For HF contests the band-category must be one of the following: ALL, 160M, 80M, 40M, 20M, 15M or 10M. <snip> The power-category must be HIGH, LOW or QRP. The mode-category must be CW, SSB or MIXED and is only permitted for single operator entries in multi-mode contests that permit single mode entries such as IARU-HF and the 10 Meter Contest. CATEGORY-ASSISTED: [assisted-status] The value or assisted-status must be ASSISTED or NON-ASSISTED and may be specified for any contest. And the sample CQ WW RTTY file at http://www.kkn.net/~trey/cabrillo/cqww-rtty.txt contains: CATEGORY: SINGLE-OP 10M HIGH CATEGORY-ASSISTED: NON-ASSISTED The robot was right - although there may be no high or low power categories in CQ WW RTTY, the contest has adopted Cabrillo as an entry format & that is how Cabrillo is specified. Nice change from the other Cabrillo problem - trying to get a log accepted for a contest where a Cabrillo-like format has been adopted. Any deviation from the "summary sheet spec" or the event not being listed or adopting an already specified QSO template means it isn't Cabrillo. Either follow the spec, or engage Trey to get it enshrined in the spec. Cabrillo, robots & log checking are all great advances in radiosport - cheers to all involved. With clearly defined requirements, life is easier for both participants & organizers - provided both sides follow them. 73, VR2BrettGraham _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
