Thanks to K5ZD's fine work on creating/updating the SS-only call sign
Database;
starting at mid-morning on Sunday, when I noticed a callsign that was not in
the
database, I welcomed them to their first SS. Three out of the twelve I
noticed
wanted to know how I knew they had not operated in a SweepStakes, the other
nine
seemed to appreciate the welcome.
Now, I wish I had started earlier in noticing, and should have kept track of
the
total new-to-SS-stations I found calling CQ as I S&Pd with 100 watts and a
temporary dipole at 35 feet.
