Agreed.
If the target was to get newcomers in, 2 hours is good.
In Finland our domestic contests are 2 hours.
Our country is small, thus contests are on 80 and 40 only.
They are very nice and somewhat popular.
Best QSO numbers are 300+ on SSB, 200+ on CW.
