How can *one* person amass over a million points. There *must* be more
to this contesting than meets the eye. What operating methods are these
guys using? Are scores dependent more on operating methods or equipment?

I did not operate the contest....too many thunderstorms form Dennis in the
area.

........................just a quick note the score.

All things remaining the same .....conditions, equipment and so forth, you're
scores will increase as you become a more savvy op. I'm an old fart with 43
years of experience and I like to think I get more savvy with every contest.

Station equipment plays an important part in contests where DX is worked...so
does location.

If you want to be more completive with a modest station and lesser experience
try the domestic contests...NAP, Sprint, SS. These contests depend less on
superior station and more on ability.
