"At the largest station in the region, automated and ready for battle
I scratch my head realizing there is no separate category to compete
SO1R.

The hope is that someday soon the results will display a distinction
between the very different classes, within a class."

I was at K8AZ's M/S this weekend. Tom has 4 rigs set up for M/S so up to 3
additional bands could be monitored by S&P ops hunting mults while a 4th band
is used for running. If he wanted to take it further, he'd get a 5th radio as
the second in-band run rig interlocked with the primary a la the M/M's.

An unfair advantage, or extremely competitive and resourceful?

I say the latter. How is this MS scenario much different than the endless
discussion about SO1R/SO2R and separate categories or separate "score
reporting"?

Do we need MS1R MS2R MS3R MS4R categories?

M2/2R M2/4R ... 5R?

MM4R MM6R MM12R?
